Every painting asks for attention, patience, courage, and time. Those things have become increasingly precious in my own life, which has only deepened my conviction that beauty is worth making.
I paint places where light lingers — where vitality, peace, and wonder seem almost tangible. My hope is that each painting becomes a sanctuary: a place to pause, breathe, and remember that the world is still full of wonder.

First Light Beckons
Morning arrives here first as color before it arrives as light — gold catching leaf-edges while the rest of the landscape still holds its blue hour. The path hasn't chosen a direction yet.
There is a particular quiet that belongs only to early light, before the day has asked anything of you. This is that quiet, embraced in paint.

Sanctuaries
There are places that seem to hold light a little longer.
“Where Light Lingers” follows a quiet stream into the shelter of the forest, where cool water catches fragments of sky and wildflowers gather along the banks. Beneath the dense canopy, small passages of illumination become precious — glancing across water, touching stone, finding their way through the trees.
Built with richly layered oil and sculptural palette-knife marks, the painting invites you into a landscape that feels both discovered and remembered: secluded, abundant, and just beyond the noise of the world.
Part of the Sanctuaries series, this work explores the places—real and imagined—that offer us refuge. Not an escape from the world, but somewhere within it where we can become quiet enough to notice what remains beautiful.
