The second of my new landscape series, “My Mountains are Purple,” this piece was inspired by the perhaps most classic view of Yosemite. I imagine El Capitan shouting weather updates to Half Dome, and Half Dome ignoring him to enjoy her peaceful perch of a hermit cave. Can you guess which peak I relate to most??! Next time you’re in Yosemite, send me a message and let me know whether El Cap has moved on from weather reports.
