The fourth of my new landscape series, “My Mountains are Purple,” this piece was inspired by the idea of sunrise melting liquid gold over nighttime peaks. There is a special warmth to sunrise in the mountains that tingles your skin and dazzles your eyes. The joy of it warms up your bones, and entices a deep inhale of crisp and sparkly fresh air. Yum.
