This is a print of my original acrylic painting from the series “My Mountains are Purple.”

The third of my new landscape series, this piece was inspired by the notion that flowers spring forth to push winter away. The flowers peek through, even on the snowiest peaks, which then piques the peaks’ interest. Interest begets warmth which then melts more snow and grows more flowers. What a happy time!
